I am so thankful that God has answered prayers about Gavin's movement.  He is moving around a lot more now and seems to be doing great. I have added a little more sugar in my diet and that seems to be helping a lot with both his and my energy levels.  Aunt Nancy you were very right about the Vanilla Oreos! They are great!

This week has been a busy one for me.  Monday and tuesday I worked at the church, wednesday I had my dr's apt in the morning and then I also had to go do the unexpected non-stress test, thursday I had to go back to work to wash and wax the kitchen floor at church and today I have to go and stand in line for what will seem like forever to possibly get the H1N1 vaccine if they don't run out before I get up to the front and after that I go and get Derricks check and run to the bank to deposit it if they aren't closed by the time I get there.  I also have to go to the grocery store after Derrick's check is deposited to get a couple weeks worth of Groceries oh and today is also the day I clean the house from top to bottom. Somewhere in there I have to go drop Derrick's work clothes off at the laundry mat and then pick them up this evening.

Well seeing as I have A LOT to do I better get going. Have a happy friday and a great weekend!

When God Made You

For the past couple days I haven't really felt Gavin move a lot and when I told Dr. Brunsman at my 31 week apt today he scheduled a stress test for me at the hospital.  I arrived there at ten this morning and got hooked up to the machine to listen to his heartbeat and monitor his movements.  He decided to stay still for the most part and so after an hour on this machine a nurse came in with a wheelchair and told me I was going down for an ultrasound to check his vitals and to make sure that the cord wasn't wrapped around his neck.  He started moving around a little more but still not a lot so the ultrasound tech tilted the bed which made him move away from my cervix and that made him really mad which made him move around a lot more.  He was trying to sleep so they think that is why he wasn't moving a lot and when they tried to get him to move he just stayed put so he must have been really comfy right where he was.  By the time I left it was 12:30 and they said he passed everything with flying colors.  I am thanking God for all His goodness with keeping the ones I love safe.

I just recieved these in the mail today.  They were a gift from Gavin's auntie Bridgette.  They are going to look so cute on his wall in his room!

I am 30 weeks today and I had a complementary ultrasound this morning.  The US tech gave me so many pictures of Gavin! He defiantly has Derricks nose and lips as far as I can tell and I think he might have his dads dimples too. I was able to see that he has some hair on his cute little head and he was opening and closing is eyes. I can't wait to have him in my arms, just pray that when I go into labor Derrick will be close enough to town that he will make it on time for little man to be born.  I am also praying that the whole one visitor thing will be cleared up if I have to have someone other than Derrick drive me to the hospital.  I don't want to be in the labor and delivery room by myself before Derrick can get there which might happen if they won't allow anyone else in but him as my one visitor.  I know God is looking out for me and I trust in his timing.. Well here are a few pictures from the ultrasound this morning. Enjoy!!!

I love this picture! He has cute chubby cheeks!

He is beginning to smile here before he covered his face with his hand.

I am 29 weeks as of this last wednesday and Gavin is moving around so much.  The other day I had just ate and he decided to do summersaults and also had the hiccups so much that I started to feel sick to my stomach.  I had to go downstairs to the bedroom and lay down for a while and after an hour and a half he finally calmed down enough to let my stomach settle a little before he started the whole thing over again.  I have been able to feel his little feet and legs as of recently and that is really fun!  This coming wednesday I have my last US just to get pictures of little man.  This is a complementary US seeing as the last one didn't turn out very well. Yay more pictures!

Yesterday I was able to go and take a tour of the OB area of the hospital.  The nurses were really nice and helpful to answer any questions I had.  I was able to see a labor and delivery room and also an after delivery room.  Each room has a jacuzzi tub and a tv and a nice little area for the baby's bed to go if I want him to stay in the room with me all the time.  I can only have one visitor the whole time I am there and that would of course be Derrick.  I did ask about if Derrick was at work when I went into labor and my friend Krissy drives me to the hospital if she could be there in the labor and delivery room with me before Derrick gets there and they didn't have a for sure answer for me as of yet.  I am also only allowed to stay there for 24 hours instead of the regular 48 hours they usually do which works for me. They told me that they don't want me or little man to get sick from any H1N1 or any other major illness that goes through the hospital and I completely agree.  I would rather go home with my baby and sleep in my own bed instead of in the hospital anyway.

Well it is my lunch time so I better go and find something to eat.
